On-Line Purchase Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to all orders placed for products identified on the Yamaha on-line order system, purchased via the website facility of Yamaha Electronics (UK) Ltd, 200 Rickmansworth Road, Watford, Hertfordshire, WD18 7GQ (hereinafter referred to as YAMAHA).
By placing an order through these facilities you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.
1. YAMAHA will only deliver products to a UK (inc Channel Islands) address. Whilst YAMAHA will try to fulfil all orders placed with the company within any stated time, YAMAHA shall not (other than required by law) be liable for the consequences of any delay or failure to deliver. All orders are subject to availability of stock no matter what indication may be given at the time that the order is placed.
2. Orders can only be accepted when placed directly over the website and where payment is by a recognized credit/debit card. The product ordered will only be despatched upon validation of that payment by the card issuer.
3. In accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, you are entitled to cancel the order and return the goods to YAMAHA. YAMAHA will accept your cancellation instruction up to seven days after you receive the goods. Please note that should you wish to cancel your order the cost of returning the goods to YAMAHA will be payable by you. Should you wish to cancel your order please contact YAMAHA sales desk, (01923 233166) who will issue you with a returns number. The product must be in perfect condition as supplied to you. Please note that YAMAHA’s warehouse will not accept returned goods without a valid returns number.
4. In the event that an order cannot be processed as a result of the non-availability of stock, the order will be cancelled and when stock becomes available you will be notified so that you can resubmit the order. Please note that any resubmitted order will be accepted at the price pertaining at the time of resubmission.
5. Should you receive a product in a damaged or faulty condition please contact the sales desk (01923 233166) immediately. Please also contact the sales desk in the event that you have not received the goods ordered within 10 working days of placing the order.
6. All products sold through YAMAHA’s website are covered by YAMAHA’s Limited Guarantee for the European Economic Area.
7. Should your unit require service attention within the guarantee period, you must obtain a returns number from YAMAHA and send the unit at your cost to YAMAHA at the above address. YAMAHA will repair or replace your unit at YAMAHA’s discretion and return it to you carriage paid. Your purchase receipt will act as proof of guarantee status. Please ensure that you pack the unit carefully as transit damage is not covered by the guarantee.
8. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Any personal information obtained by YAMAHA in the course of your purchase will not be passed to any third party save for the purpose of fulfilling your order or for providing you with after sales service.
10. Please note that in no circumstances shall YAMAHA be liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss or damage arising from the supply of goods to you.
